Snoozing under the window with my boys has become a weekend ritual that I look forward to and cherish. It’s a fall/winter thing because the warm woodstove is part of it. In summer it would likely be too hot by the window. This afternoon was perfect. The snow was coming down and after our two hour hike, we snuggled in. In long johns and favorite old fleece I…I tossed my field jacket over Mak to keep him toasty under the window. He was tucked in to my side, Rollo’s big noggin was on my lap.
