Second Walk

It was late afternoon when we started our second walk of the day.img_1662-2But once there, the dogs and I were glad to be walking.img_1673aBefore we arrived at the pond I smelled cigarettes and sure enough people were at the water’s edge. As I approached I spied a loose dog. Had I called to the people, and they’d have been cooperative, there was no way the spot would have been peaceful with my guys going nuts. Instead we followed a trail that ran along the shore. I was relieved their dog never explored us because it’s hard to imagine that he/she didn’t hear us.img_1704-2This was one of those times when my dogs prevented what might have been some social contact. 😦 But I was grateful we had no conflict. Darkness was coming on and we retraced our steps back to the truck.img_1708-2
